To Raif My Vows

Seven years ago when I met you, I had no idea how much you were going to influence, inspire, and change my life. You met me at a time in my life that feels so far away form where we are not its hard to imagine who those people were. You gave me an ultimatum that not only saved my life but allowed us to create a life together, filled with so much adventure, love and memories. Its hard to pick a favorite memory with you because life since meeting you has been amazing. I don’t think I can ever thank you enough for giving me the chance to learn to love myself and the world around me.

You gave up a part of your life to support me in my sobriety. You opened my eyes and showed me a bigger picture, how beautiful where I grew up is, and how lucky I am to have such a loving and supportive family. You have shown me how to appreciate my friends and cherish things in life I previously took for granted.

You are the most handsome, thoughtful and talented person I have ever met. For those of you who don’t know Raif yet, he sees beauty in the world and wants to share it with everyone. He is he first person I have met who actually stops to smell the roses, or really any flower. He will tell you what kind of flower it is, why he loves it and where he would grow it. After that he will make you stop for a moment and appreciate it.

Raif is an encyclopedia, he knows everything. If you need to know something he will figure it out before anyone finding out he didn’t know it. His passion for knowledge is a trait I didn’t know I was attracted to until I met him.

Raif thank you for planning every detail of this wedding and believing in your vision of our perfect day. I hope you know how grateful I am to be with someone who dose everything whole heartedly. I want to do better in life because of you. Even though this is our day I know you want it to be special for everyone. Thats the type of person you are.

You often put everyone before yourself. I promise to be the person who puts you first. Thank you for being silly, I promise to not tell you to stop at the expense of my embarrassment. I am Lucky you bring joy and lightheartedness into each day. I promise to keep saying yes. Yes to travel, yes to being more spontaneous and yes to seeing the positive in each day.

As you say things always work out for us. I promise to trust whatever adventures the future has in store for us.

I am the luckiest person in the world to be able to walk next to you.

Holding your hand telling you, Im tired, Im hungry, and I’m cold

I love you.
